Types of Events

The staff at Corporate Events has handled an array of exciting events over the years. Here are just a few:

A fundraiser featuring Colin Powell as keynote speaker. This event, which raised over $225,000 for charity, took a year's worth of planning to pull off. The Buffalo Soldiers were there, along with 1,500 A-list attendees. The only thing more amazing than the security surrounding Colin Powell was our attention to detail.

A European-flavored charity event. Some events call for a bit of magic. Like the ability to transport guests to Europe, if only for an evening. We started with a custom-designed passport invitation. Six food and wine stations, each representing a different European country, surrounded a sparkling pool. After bidding on a variety of exotic silent auction items, guests danced the night away under the starry sky.

A Kentucky Derby experience. Two hundred million-dollar customers for one of our clients were treated to four days at the Kentucky Derby. We handled everything, from hotel accommodations to transportation to dinners at Kentucky bourbon distilleries. We even arranged for a seminar with a handicapper, to improve everyone's odds of walking away a big winner.

An Alaskan fishing trip. The best way to land that big account? Make a big impression. We helped a client do just that by making flight arrangements, finding accommodations at a remote wilderness lodge and setting up individualized fishing charters. We even arranged to have each attendee's fish cleaned, packaged and delivered home.

A Master's Golf Tournament getaway. One hundred lucky customers for one of our clients were treated to four days at the Master's Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA. We took care of everything from transportation to accommodations to entertainment. We even arranged an outdoor dinner at the home of the Mayor of Augusta.
